Physical & Motor Development

Fine motor activities help in developing child’s imagination and creativity. It’s not only gives concept of colour and shape to the toddler but also contributes to pre writing skills. It also develops finger grip movement.

At BVB Vidyashram Balwadi, we believe that every child’s early years should be filled with joyous memories, love, and plenty of opportunities for exploration. Our goal is to create an environment where children can run, play, and be themselves, fostering natural growth through fun and engaging activities. With our splash pool, rain dance area, doll house, and vibrant play zones, we provide a world of excitement and adventure for our little learners.

Key Focus Areas in Physical & Motor Development:

Ensuring Proper Growth: We closely monitor the physical development of every child, tracking their height and weight to ensure healthy growth. To support this, our in-house kitchen prepares nutritious, baby-friendly meals that are tasted by our caretakers before being served to the children, ensuring they receive wholesome, hygienic food.

Developing Gross Motor Skills: Gross motor skills help children gain control over the large muscles of their bodies. Through activities like walking, running, swinging, and dancing, we encourage children to move with confidence. Our energetic taekwondo sessions also help them build strength and perseverance, while peaceful yoga sessions improve their flexibility. Additionally, we host an annual Sports Day filled with fun competitions, from races to the rabbit jump, allowing our young athletes to shine.

Enhancing Fine Motor Skills: Fine motor skills involve developing control over smaller muscles, especially those used in hand-eye coordination. At BVB Vidyashram Balwadi, children engage in creative activities such as drawing, coloring, pasting, paper folding, thumb printing, pattern making, clay modeling, and beading. These hands-on activities allow children to refine their fine motor skills while having fun and learning in a playful, interactive environment.
